The GenuTrain OA is a lightweight knee orthosis built around a 3-point unloading principle. Size And Fit
The GenuTrain OA is offered in size and side configurations. Choose the size and the medial or lateral configuration that matches the knee that needs unloading.
To size: measure the circumference of the leg approximately 15 cm above the middle of the kneecap and 15 cm below the middle of the kneecap. Match both values to the official Bauerfeind GenuTrain OA size scale supplied with the product.
If your knee pain is more on the inside of the knee, you generally need the medial unloading configuration. If your pain is more on the outside, the lateral configuration is generally indicated. When in doubt or if you are between sizes, contact the Medibrace team before ordering for help confirming the right option.
Care Instructions
Close all fasteners before washing. Hand wash at 30°C with mild detergent, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not iron. Remove the brace before showering or swimming unless specifically advised otherwise by your clinician.
