Immobilization and relief of the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb. The RhizoLoc® OA secures the thumb and index finger in a defined position and immobilizes the carpometacarpal joint and metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb. Grasping movements are guided and strain is reduced.
In addition to chronic symptoms caused by osteoarthritis, this orthosis can also be used in cases of arthritis or following injuries and surgery to support functional treatment measures to achieve pain relief and mobilization.
